Interior

The house sleeps up to six in three bedrooms. There is one en-suite, a house bathroom and separate shower room.
Living space is arranged on one level. A large attractive covered entrance area opens into the spacious vestibule partitioned from the hallway by internal glass panelled doors.

The principal living/dining room boasts a semi-vaulted ceiling and imposing feature fireplace with slate surround and hearth housing a wood burning stove. The spectacular views across the bay from this room are framed in double aspect floor to ceiling windows.

The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with fitted units, composite worksurfaces, all modern appliances, walk in pantry and feature display cabinet. A separate spacious utility room houses washing machine and tumble dryer keeping laundry and living segregated.

A second sitting room for relaxing is situated at the rear of the house and has external access to a covered “al fresco” area with views of the moorland behind and the beach below. Here guests may watch buzzards soaring above the peak of Beinn Bhiorach and hope to catch a glimpse of their majestic cousin the Golden Eagle.

Facing east the three bedrooms have ocean views. The master bedroom has double aspect windows and an en-suite. There is a house bathroom and a further separate shower room, all of which are fitted to the highest standard to provide maximum flexibility for guest’s needs.

Exterior

The natural landscape of the hill affords protection around the house and care has been taken to provide areas of shelter using a combination of decking and paving to extend the living experience. The ruins of the original dwelling create a focal point in front of the house where the terrain has been largely left unspoilt. At the rear there is a substantial covered area ensuring that guests have the ability to exploit variable weather conditions.
